On September 23, 2019, Twice released their 8th extended play (EP) entitled Feel Special under JYP Entertainment. Including the entire albums that Twice had released throughout 2019, Feel Special is the third one to be released among the other 4 albums. Consisting of 7 tracks, the title track for this EP has the same name as the EP, “Feel Special.” The other 6 tracks are “Rainbow,” “Get Loud,” “Trick It,” “Love Foolish,” “21:29,” and the Korean version of “Breakthrough.”
Story Behind Feel Special by Twice
JYP Entertainment as the agency of Twice revealed the Korean comeback of Twice with their 8th extended play called Feel Special on September 9, 2019, which was planned to be released on September 23, 2019. The title track for this EP is the same as the EP, “Feel Special.” All of Twice’s members took part in this EP as songwriters for some tracks in the EP such as “Rainbow,” “Get Loud,” “Trick It,” “Love Foolish,” and “21:29.” Starting on September 11, 2019, JYP Entertainment unveiled the clip teaser as well as the individual photo teaser of each member consecutively until September 18, 2019. During the 2:27 minutes of the video above, you can listen to pieces of all the tracks of Twice’s 8th EP Feel Special. J.Y. Park “The Asiansoul” was in charge of both the production and songwriting for the title track “Feel Special” with Park, Ollipop, and Hayley Aitken as the composers and Min Lee “collapsedone” as the arranger. All of Twice’s members also took part as songwriters for some tracks on the EP with “21:29” as the track that all of them wrote lyrics for.
